KARACHI: The Selection Committee of PHF released the names of 36 players from which Pakistan Junior team for the five match test series against India will be formed.
The names of the players were finalized by committee headed by Olympian Hasan Sardar with fellow Olympians Rana Mujahid Ali, Farhat Khan, Khalid Bashir, international Muhammad Shafique as it member after two-day trials which concluded at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium.
The coach of Junior team Qamar Ibrahim is the coopted member of the selection committee.
Chief Selector Hasan sardar said after the trials that an 16-member squad for the series against Indian juniors will be named on November 2. The opening match of the series will be played here on November 12, according to PHF itinerary.

Irfan, Kashif Jawed, Junaid, Zaheer Ahmed, Rashid, Usman Tariq, Amir Shehzad, Farid Ahmed, Khurram (half-backs)
Adeel Hussain, Ramzan, Hasan Akhtar, Salman, Tofeeq, Azlan Khan, Khurram Shahzad, Yasir, Naseem Khan, Inyat Ullah, Imran Malik, Shafqat Rasool, Shahbaz, Irfan, Zubair, Rizwan, M.Imran (forwards).
